LifeSpan Care Management LLC, a six year old firm that offers health coordination and advocacy services to those with chronic or catastrophic illness or injury. He is also an adjunct clinical instructor for the nursing program at Thomas Jefferson University. He has traveled and lectured widely on the topics of health outcomes measures and case management.
Michael Newell has a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration from LaSalle University, and is the author of two professional nursing texts: Using Nursing Case Management to Improve Health Outcomes (Aspen, 1996), and co-authored Reinventing Your Nursing Career (1998). His expertise is in critical care and in case management/rehabilitation, certified as a critical care nurse (CCRN) in 1979 and a case manager (CCM) in 1992.
